Together we walk around Green Lake to end hunger in Seattle. Will you join us?
Let’s walk together for a great cause! Meet us in front of the Green Lake UMC castle on Sunday, October 5 for our annual Crop Walk around Green Lake. On-site registration opens at 12:30 p.m., and our procession to the lake begins with the bagpiper at 1 p.m.
Join walkers from North Seattle with your steps and donations to help provide meals for families in our community who need them.
You can join the Green Lake team, donate, and invite your friends to join here https://events.crophungerwalk.org/crophungerwalks/teams?event=seattlewa
Everyone is welcome to join us after church on October 5 for a pre-walk potluck lunch in Alden Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
At the end of the walk, we’ll meet at the pop-up tent near Sunnyside Ave N and Green Lake Way for refreshments and an end-of-walk celebration!
CROP Hunger Walks are community-based walk fundraising events held in cities and towns across the United States, created to support the global mission of Church World Service, a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement, and disaster.
